Reading- The students are making great progress in reading. In some of my groups, students are working on mastering letters and sounds and learning simple sight words. In other groups, students are working on reading fluently (reading so that it sounds like talking) and working on reading with expression.
Math- The kindergarteners are working hard at writing and identifying the numbers 1-10. They are also working on sorting and graphing by color and shape.
Religion- In religion, the students will learn about the story of Noah’s Ark and God’s promise to His people.
Writing- The students will be working on the letters “Ll-Oo” this week in their handwriting books. J
